This walk climbs four hills east of the Stretton Valley: Hope Bowdler Hill, Lawley, Caer Caradoc and Helmeth Hill.  The walk starts with an easy climb up Hope Bowdler Hill and ends in the bluebell woods of Helmeth Hill, with challenging hills in between.  There will be wonderful changing views in all directions and, if we have enough energy, we will try to find Caractucus’s Cave.  When we are back at the cars, we can drive down to find tea and cakes in Church Stretton if needed!
Directions:  From crossroads on A49 at Church Stretton, turn onto B4371 for 0.8 mile.  Lay-by is on the left at the top of the hill.
